Dellisart has an experienced team of hospitality experts with backgrounds in operations, development and acquisitions - making the company well situated to take its place as an industry leader.

  • Douglas Artusio, CHA – Chairman and CEO

    With more than 40 years of hospitality experience, Douglas E. Artusio has held virtually every position on the operating side of the hotel business. Starting as a desk clerk at Marriott's Essex House in New York, Artusio quickly moved up through the ranks into positions of increasing scope and responsibility. Prior to founding Dellisart, he was vice president of franchise sales for Bass Hotels & Resorts. He joined Holiday Inn Worldwide as the vice president of sales and marketing for the billion dollar "company-owned hotels" group, consisting of 135 full-service hotels across Canada, the United States and South America.

    Additionally, Mr. Artusio held a number of positions with Marriott Corporation, where he was a member of the "Service Development Team," responsible conceiving, designing and implementing the company-wide arrival service, "1st 10," and the complete reorganization of the housekeeping department at all Marriott hotels. He also served in a number of sales and marketing positions at the property level, including director of marketing of Marriott’s 1,000-room Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage beach, Mo., where he received the company's highest award for achievement.

    Mr Artusio, spent eight years at Inter-Continental Group (IHG) where he served as V.P of Sales and Marketing for the Company Managed Hotels in the America spanning over 230 full service hotels. In addition is served as Vice President of Franchise Sales for IHG leading the team covering the Western regions where he and the team completed over 500 hotel franchise agreements fro IHG.

    Mr. Artusio received his Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management and Marketing from Niagara University College of Hospitality and Tourism Management.

  • Ken Roberts – Vice President of Operations

    Ken Roberts has full operational responsibilities for Dellisart's US portfolio. Mr. Roberts brings with him over 30 years of hotel operations and management experience. Most recently, he developed asset management programs and managed renovation projects for Innkeepers Hospitality group. Prior to that, he held general manager positions at a number of Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield Inn and Residence Inn hotels.

    Mr. Roberts graduated with an Associates Degree in Energy Technology from Henry Ford Community College, Dearborn Michigan.

  • Audra Lee – Vice President of Accounting Services

    Patricia Brazil is responsible for the accounting services for the Dellisart portfolio. Ms. Brazil brings more than 30 years of hospitality accounting experience. Prior to joining Dellisart in 2020, she was the VP, Corporate Accounting & Finance for Global Hotel Management Group in Atlanta. Director of Accounting (contract) for Legacy Ventures Hotel & Restaurant Group in Atlanta. Previous Accounting rolls both reginal and onsite where she was responsible for a portfolio for brands such as Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Boutique brands.

    She started her hospitality career as an Assistant Controller with Marriott International working at the property level. Mr. Marriott’s grandson and her worked together at the Gaithersburg, MD Marriott. As a result of consistent promotions, the majority of her career was spent as a Director of Finance and Accounting at multiple properties in multiple states. Throughout her 30 plus year career, She was nominated to represent her region in various forums and won numerous awards, including:

    • Change and Creativity Award of the Year (SE Region)
    • Controller Award, Highest Key Performance Indicators
    • Risk Assessment Audit- Highest Scores (three years in a row)

    Ms. Brazil graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh and an Advanced Accounting Certification from the International Business College in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is currently studying and preparing for the Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive (CHAE) designation.

  • Ewa Kempa – Vice President of Revenue Management Services

    Ewa Kempa has full revenue management responsibilities for Dellisart’s US portfolio. Mrs. Kempa brings with her over 15 years of hotel experience. Starting as a desk clerk at the Wyndham Glenview Suites and quickly moving up within the company to a Revenue Manager in 2006. Joining our Team in 2009 Mrs. Kempa created a new revenue management culture, overseeing multiple brands and standardizing pricing structure to benefit our ownership groups.

    Mrs. Kempa graduated with a Certification in Business Management from Oakton Community College in Des Plaines, IL.

  • Adam Artusio – Vice President of Human Resources

    Adam Artusio has full Human Resources responsibilities for Dellisart’s US portfolio. Mr. Artusio brings with him over 15 years of hotel operations and management experience. Most recently, he had joint responsibility for operational training, implementation and development for Dellisart's US portfolio. Previously he oversaw operations of company operated hotels managed in Bowling Green Kentucky. Prior to that, he has held General Manager and Managerial positions at a number of properties and brands such as Hyatt Place, Staybridge Suites, Wyndham and the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.

    Mr. Artusio graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Auburn University of Montgomery, Montgomery Alabama.

  • Craig Stechman – Corporate Director of Management Sales

    Craig has over 30 years experience in the Hotel Industry and has served as a SVP of Sales, Marketing, Development and Revenue Management for several well known hotel ownership and management companies in the U.S. representing hotel brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG and Choice Hotels. He has trained hundreds of hotel sales and marketing associates and is proud to see them prosper in their careers.

    He is responsible for development of management contracts for the Dellisart hotel portfolio within his territory of the eastern U.S. His home and office is in Myrtle Beach, SC.

  • Amber Soliday – Regional Director of Management Sales

    Residing in the Denver CO metro area, with 20 years of hospitality experience, Amber began her career as a Sr catering sales manager in a mountain resort where she was quickly sought out for her first Director of Sales position at an upscale Country Club, first in Colorado and then transferred to San Antonio, TX. After 7 years in country clubs where she had the honor of meeting and interacting with many celebrities she decided to try her hand in hotels, which brought her back home to Colorado. She had found her calling. Working in all independent properties, she tried them all, boutique, convention / full service, select serve and extended stay. She was a very successful Area and then Regional Director of Sales for brands such as Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham and Choice. Amber has a great passion for the industry and gives her whole heart to her career.

    Amber graduated with a BA in Elementary Education from Utah State University. She went on to get her CHSP, CWP and CSEP. She is always ready and eager to learn more about the industry and meet people that can assist in her growth. She is always networking and joining committees and groups to stay caught up with all on the industry news and trends. In her free time she loves spending time with her husband of 16 years, their 6 grown children and making memories with their 5 grandchildren. They take advantage of the beautiful Colorado Mountains almost every weekend whether its just for a beautiful drive or weekend getaway to Aspen. She sneaks in trips to warm places whenever possible.

  • Steve Niemi – Regional Director of Management Sales

    Steve has a passion for hospitality with over 25 years of hotel experience. Starting his career with Residence Inn he was promoted 8 times within his first 12 years with Marriott International including executive sales & marketing and operational roles in both limited and full service hotels & resorts across the United States. He also has extensive brand experience with Hilton, Carlson Companies, Choice Hotels and Wyndham along with independent luxury brands enjoying a wide variety of positions on a local and regional level receiving awards nationally for sales, revenue management and customer service. In addition he has facilitated revenue management training globally and operated his own LLC providing consulting and other hotel related services to over 150 hotels and owners.

    Mr. Niemi attended the University of MN College Of Liberal Arts and graduated with a Business Management Degree from the MN School of Business in Minneapolis.
